Adam purchased a 1976 Austin Mini 1000 in November of 1996. In the middle of a snowstorm, we got a friend of his with a trailer, to drive out to Yarrow (70 km east of Vancouver), to a barn full of 30 dead Mini's. We had pre-selected one that we felt was in the best shape. There was 3 feet of snow on the ground and we had much fun trying to get it on the trailer to bring it home. Through ice and snowdrifts across the freeway, we finally got home and rolled it off the trailer.
